i'm bess...or liz, or elizabeth, depending on how you know me. lover of life, collector of thoughts and songs and Sharpies. Can't make up my mind between Folly and Raleigh...I love them both. I think that the most important meal of the day is that first cup of coffee and a good conversation, even if it's just with yourself. I live for the first day of Spring when you don't even need a jacket in the morning, Wolfpack football, and fireworks. Just taking it one day at a time and trying to enjoy everything that my little life has to offer...

I spent yesterday afternoon getting a new look for the new year. Here are a few thoughts:
- First haircut yesterday since August. Way too long to go without a cut and color!
- It’s so much shorter than it was. Like doesn’t-really-go-into-a-ponytail short!
- I. Love. It. Feeling good about an unexpected drastic change for 2012.
- Raleigh friends—if you need a new hairstylist, check out Krista at Carmen! Carmen! salon. It’s in Crabtree, right outside Belk.
- I will admit that I’m a little scared about how it’s going to look curly. We shall see!
- Please ignore the weird look on my face in the “Before” picture. I haven’t quite mastered taking photos of myself in the mirror.
- Unrelated random fact: both my before and after pictures have Wine & Design paintings in the background!
