Here’s what’s on my mind tonight:
1. ECU Gunbrella Man

I have been laughing since about 1:45 p.m. when I found out that the alleged gunman at ECU was just a regular student carrying an umbrella. From comments on the news stories to Twitter to photoshopped photos of the Gunbrella Man, I really can’t get enough. Here are a few of my favorites:

*All photos of Gunbrella Man from the ECU Gunbrella Man Facebook page.
All joking aside, I can understand the response of the university and the police with the lockdown on ECU’s campus. In light of other shootings on campuses across the country and the reports of gunmen on campuses across North Carolina in the past few weeks, I think that the response was appropriate. While it is silly that they were tracking down an umbrella-wielding student for hours, isn’t it better to be safe than sorry?
2. Tornadoes!!!
The beautiful fall summer-like weather we have been having is giving way to more summer-like weather: TORNADOES. To me, they are by far the scariest weather events. And after the long day I had, all I wanted to do tonight was watch Revenge! Go away, tornadoes!!!
Just say NO to:
And YES to:
I miss you, Emily Thorne!!!
3. It’s Thanksgiving, not Christmas.
Christmas is by far my favorite holiday, but even I think it should wait its turn. November is for turkeys and leaves and food and orange and yellow, not Santa Claus and Christmas songs and lights and red and green. And whatever radio station is already playing Christmas songs, you just got nexted from my presets.
